Pendlebury Model Buildings was established by Roy Jones about 15 years ago when he retired from the daily grind. He had built up the business into a well known and respected brand but finally decided to retire and was clearing his stock when I met him at G Rail, 2009. Following a brief discussion I agreed to buy the business from him.

Pendlebury models are renowned for their unique character and robustness. They will make an excellent addition to your large scale railway. The models are developed to cater for both 16mm and G scale layout. As with real buildings, there is no average size, they just look correct.

I intend to continue with much of what Roy has established but obviously new products will also soon be developed. The detail Roy has got in to the molds is outstanding and I only hope to emulate his dedication. Moulds do not last forever; refinements and new items are constantly being developed.

Models are made from cast resin which is weatherproof and sometimes plastic detail parts. The painted models are finished with automobile paints and exterior masonry paint so the effect will last a good many years.

Models are available as finished items which are fully assembled, painted and ready to use. Additionally, most models are also available as flat kits for easy assembly and painting by you.
